Premier are long time providers of secure document disposal services. In the past we have worked on an ad-hoc basis with our customers to help them meet their WEEE Directive needs by disposing of their redundant IT equipment whilst at the same time ensuring that any data is effectively destroyed. Requests for these services have grown to a point where we have now established a new business to handle increased demand.

To celebrate our expansion into this area of business we are offering a free recycling service*. You will have to hurry though because this offer cannot last long.

Aside from cost, why use Premier for your IT disposal needs? Let's look at what happens when you ask us to dispose of your old IT equipment:

  • We will arrange collection of the electronic waste from your site
  • You will be provided with a Waste/Hazardous Waste Transfer Note upon collection of the equipment.
  • When the equipment arrives at one of our secure processing depots any data storage media is removed. This is destroyed using powerful shredding machines guaranteeing that no data can be recovered.
  • You will receive a Certificate of Destruction for any magnetic media destroyed.
  • All IT equipment is initially stripped and separated according to its composition (copper based, plastics, glass, etc.). All processing is undertaken at our UK recycling partners based in the UK (we do not transport the equipment half way round the world for processing as other companies might and we do not resell any equipment).

* The recycling/processing service is free. There is a small collection charge for each site we collect from. If CRT monitors or televisions are included in the collection there is also a hazardous waste transfer charge (this is a legal requirement and the fee is passed on to the Environment Agency).

Call us to discuss your needs or if you have any questions of our services.
